Steria was appointed to advise on the construction of raised flower beds and planters to brighten the Kirkley shopping area as part of the Heritage Action Zone.

Each planter features unique signage inspired by Lowestoft’s heritage, including references to the Excelsior boat, reflecting the town’s maritime history, and the mackerel, a nod to its long history of fishing. A kittiwake and a mermaid complete the designs.

It’s particularly rewarding to see the planters being enjoyed by local people and to know that we’ve played a part in contributing to the community.
